In this day and age, it can sometimes be hard to tell if a user is a bot or not! Especially with the advancements in AI we’re dealing with. That’s exactly what they want! So if you’ve talked to a spambot assuming they were a human like yourself, that’s only, well, human. We don’t want people engaging with spambots, but if we slip and do so anyways by mistake, it’s nothing to worry about. It’s happened to me more than once!

If you ever find yourself unsure, you can mention that in the report and we’ll find out what the case is. “This user seems like a bot! But I’m not 100% sure!” Or, you can ignore it altogether. Somebody else will report it or we’ll just see it ourselves.

(That said, I don’t know what you’re referring to! So I can’t tell you if you were talking to a bot, a person, or what! I wouldn’t worry about it, either way.)

Just a helpful hint—it’s a general rule of thumb around here to avoid double posting, which is making a consecutive post right underneath another one of your posts. If you need to add something to your original post, simply use the edit button, located in the bottom right corner of your post. hello there, im new here, obviously, and im looking for help on how to do specific things and what mod tools i could possibly use to make them easier

as i said, im very new to pretty much all of this, but i have a basic idea of a mod i would want to do to Mother 3, the problem is, after a couple of hours of searching, ive come up with very few things to be able to mod the game how i would like to.
these include:
- being able to assign new PSI to characters, newly created or in the base game
- create new text boxes (or extend ones already there? this coincides with the one below)
- i don’t really know how to explain this well, but you know the tiny box that comes up with the character’s name that’s speaking? like if you talked to a pigmask, it would be labeled “Pigmask” in the box, i want to be able to put that on any text box to show a specific character is speaking

some of the more outlandish ideas i had that i completely understand if its just not possible or would require a lot of work with/without tools are:
- adding a new slider with a new value that would work similar to PP
- create new moves dealing with said new value
- creating a way to switch out party members, like if you had 5 or above, you could pick and choose which 4 you want to fight.

currently, i have downloaded an easy way for me to edit text (specifically, the Mother 3 translation tools) and MOTHER 3 funland, But, after exploring it for a bit, i could not find ways to do the things i want to. (also i dont know if i have an out of date version of MOTHER 3 funland or anything)

I had a dream once where some sort of serious exploit was discovered within the old code of sites built in the era of Web 1.0. Like the framework used to build sites from the early 00s like starmen.net was found to have a flaw that bad actors could exploit. It was such a bad exploit that all major browsers started to flag sites built on that framework as “unsafe”. Like one of these:

And that exploit was so integral to the framework of starmen.net that we’d need to completely rebuild the entire website from the ground up in order to meet the security specifications. So for my entire dream it was looking like thousands and thousands of old websites from the early 00s including starmen.net were all basically killed all at once.

Like in my dream you could TECHNICALLY still reach the site by bypassing google’s warning, but we all understood that we would be getting basically zero new members and that this was basically the end of the entire website and we were trying to figure out how to move on from there.
