After pinning the list of the day’s activities to the NOVA conference notice board he looked over at the clock and back again. Performing some mental calculations, he decided that he had time to sneak off to one of the events and listen to someone prattle on about ancient magic history. A fine diversion if there ever would be one for today. He’d already snuck more than a few peeks at Maximus’ notes on the topic, maybe a little bit of academic disagreement would be interesting to watch.

I think final scum is between PKFP and Rake.

Sariend is also possible but i think that I’d rather focus on the above two first. Plus if it is Saried then we’ll keep getting no-kills every night.

This is all said with the assumption that there is only one mafiaso left. I really think 6 scum is too many for an 18 player game that already has two slots taken up with indies.

My role PM says I get people’s alignment, but I’ve actually been getting both role and alignment.

N1 I investigated Drake, who came back as town tracker
N2 I targeted PKFP but was fizzled by PKFP
N3 I investigated PKFP and found that she’s a roleblocker, town aligned (I was saying I trusted PKFP in case I died and flipped cop, but I don’t know why town PKFP would lie about this role, so this might be the work of a mafia lawyer if PKFP is mafia)
N4 I investigated Captainplanet but I was blocked
N5… I guess I forgot to send in an action??? How did I mess that up
N6 I investigated Rake. I received a result saying Rake is the doublevoter, but weirdly they didn’t include an alignment in the result PM. I’ve sent a reply to the narrators asking if this was a mistake or if it was intentional, I’ll update when I get a response from them

Based on all this I think I’m leaning towards a PKFP vote unless she can provide a convincing explanation why she’s been lying about having a protective role, but rake being the anonymous doublevoter means he’s not totally off the table as a possibility either I think?

Dunno what Lunch is, but he visited Broomweed AND Grendel, which makes me certain he’s not mafia, but unsure what he is exactly. Also, I think I called it on Rake being our double-voter.

Drake corroborating that Broomweed visited me makes me believe the role claim. And I believe Grendel’s because of the Doctor’s Dish and of course the Strongman dish I received.

PKFP getting a townie result from the cop check is really odd though. Rather than a lawyer, maybe it’s like a second part to her role that grants her cop-check immunity? Those sorts of roles are often used in games with cops. Even more so when the cop, as we know here, gets both the role and the alignment.

Either way, I’d like to hear what PKFP has to say about just being a Roleblocker. If that really is the role, I have to lean on the side of her being scum. Xedic was definitely a roleblocker if you read his role description (him convincing someone to stay in the room for the night), so it’s just more likely that it’s a scum roleblocker role and she gets cop-check immunity.

Us potentially having a redirector is worrisome since they might try to redirect my strongman dish into someone. If we do have a townie redirector, please do not use your ability on me.

I’d say at least you’re cleared as town but Broom also got a town check on PKFP depiste a glaring contradiction in PKFP’s claimed role.

Double voter is at least a much more town aligned role than rb.

In hopes of helping to clear myself here I want to mention that both a Doublevoter and the Silencer being on a scumteam would be a crazy combination because it would make voting very skewed in favour of the mafia.

Also now that I think about it, maybe Drake got watcher results from me because I don’t visit anyone at night? So instead it turned into a watcher result so he at least got information. I think that’s likely.

My guess is that Drake fake claimed tracker as a watcher to minimize the power of his role. Watchers are much stronger than trackers, and are more likely to be killed.

Oh no, I actually am a tracker, so this is really weird. The Narrator corrected themself once, probably wouldn’t have goofed another time after that. I target somebody and learn who THEY targeted, that’s how it works, but this time I was told who Rake was targeted BY. That isn’t consistent, so I’ve asked about it.

Hi all – I need to come clean about something. I am Robin Abel, Mortuary Assistant, Antediluvian Faction. I’m an independent, and my role is functionally an Amnesiac. At any time during the game, I could indiscriminately take on the Archetype and Alignment of any deceased player, effectively adopting their slot, barring Faction. An Archetype essentially means I have the most base version of whoever’s role I stole, so if I stole from a Nurse I’d function as a Doctor. This was to make it easier for me to obscure the fact the role was stolen.

This was a one-time action, and my wincon is simply to survive having adopted this role. The idea is essentially that my character is a mortuary assistant at the hotel, who has a habit of stealing the possessions of the corpses that come their way, room keys and masks included. They use these masks to come up into the light and explore the hotel proper, a beautiful respite from their life in the darker, grimier medical area of the hotel.

I jumped at taking on Xedic’s role not only because a Town role was desirable to me (I’d much rather win with Town than with Scum) but because I wanted a role ASAP. If a cop or role cop investigated me N1, they’d easily find that I was a 3P Amnesiac, and I suspected that Town wouldn’t hesitate me to chuck me out if that were revealed. The Nurse claim I pretty much came up with on the fly D2, and I don’t think it worked out too bad all things considered.

As for my visits, as soon as I decided on Nurse I tried my best to act how I genuinely would if I were playing Nurse. For instance, I visited Broom twice as I realised she was the Cop after her defence of me D2 (even if it turns out she didn’t have the report yet then). Nurse!me would want to keep her alive, but also not block her completely, hence why I backed off and alternated days. I visited Sariend last night to see if they were submitting night actions whilst pretending to be AFK.

I’m not gonna say I don’t understand if you wish to vote me off, I’ve caused plenty of confusion for all of you, but I’d like to win alongside you all. Until I’m gone, I’ll continue to help scumhunt and answer any questions anyone has left. Lots of love <3

Ok the actual answer to this is I’m an idiot and can’t read — apparently I sent my night 5 action as a second reply to my “night 4 action” PM and then freaked out bc I didn’t see a “night 5 action” pm in my sent box and apparently just forgot what I did night 5. In my defense, I’m kind of going through a lot right now in my actual life, lmao.

Night 5 I did use my item on Drake (which I assume protected him per Grendel’s claim), but I also investigated Deybrek who gave me a mafia result. So that does rule out the “naive cop” hypothesis, at least. Sorry about the confusion!!!

I don’t really know how much I can explain since I’m just a Stump. If I die, I can talk but can’t vote. I have no other Abilities and have kinda just been trying to help as much as I can during the Day phases.

I knew we had a doctor! I feel super glad about not voting for you back on Day 2 now. If we had eliminated you, Drake probably would have died to Deybrek the first night he targeted him. Interesting that you weren’t on anyone last night though cause I was hoping that might help us figure out why no one died last night. I’m honestly a bit confused at that because I can’t figure out any either mechanical reason why no one would die.

Also about the Stump – I thought stumping was something you had to choose to do or else it doesn’t activate? Of course last game UG didn’t have to do that but he was unaware about being a stump. In the games I’ve played stumps usually reveal on day 1 in order to make sure their role activates. I guess maybe that’s not how it works here though.

With the roleclaims now I trust Lunch and Grendel’s claims since they are provable. I don’t trust Aither’s as much because that’s not how I’m used to the role working and it’s also impossible to prove until he dies. It’s an easy elimination too because if they actually are a stump, they’ll stick around to chat even if they can’t vote.

With all roles revealed though the redirection thing is confusing me more. Grendel, are you certain you targeted Lunch? Because if so we’re dealing with some sort of redirection or transporter role who hasn’t claimed and that has me worried that they are mafia.

Good point. Which means it must be a redirector who specifically targeted Grendel into me. But why though? Part of me wonders if it’s just a genuine slip by the Narrator cause if there was a redirector in the game I feel like we would have known before now. What else could cause Grendel to target me instead of Lunch?
