The first 10 songs are Mother 1 music, and the last 16 are Mother 2 music. The music on this music is very different from the Mother 1 and Mother 2 soundtrack CDs. This is not a collection of music straight from the GBA game, but are completely redone versions of the music we have all come to know through out the series. Some of the music is done with real instruments, or at least sound like they are. But the majority of the music is synthesized. Even still, it is very high quality and sounds great. A perfect example is track 18 Lucky Nice Blues, which is an AMAZING remake of the Runaway 5's theme song.This is a must have CD for Mother/EarthBound fans as you get to hear some of your favorite music from the series in a whole new way.

One interesting thing about the final track, 26 Smiles and Tears. Once the music ends wait. At 6:47 you will hear the sounds of birds chirping and a running river. Strange.
