They should totally remake mother 3! How about a mother 3ds (

I’m not sure that’s ever going to happen because the game is pretty good as it is.

Considering Nintendo doesn’t really re-make their old GBA games into new ones except in some very specific cases, as optimistic as I am for the localization of Mother 3, I really doubt we’ll ever see a remake.

I’d be totally down for a Wii U/NX remake of Mother 3 as it was supposed to be as Earthbound 64.

A localization of the GBA game would still be super cool, though.

Although, it would be impossible, I had an idea before where Nintendo collaborated with Atlus (the developers of the SMT series and the Persona series), and they would start developing all three Mother/EarthBound games in 3D for the Nintendo NX, with Shigesato Itoi acting as supervising producer.

^I wouldn’t want them in 3D, but a nice hand-drawn art style and re-done music would be cool.

Of course, you’d be able to play the originals as well.

^Ah, my favourite Zelda game: Twilight Princes. Truly a paragon of it’s time, the best since Link: The Faces of Evil.

But actually, the chances of a Mother 3 remake are slim. I would think that the franchise as a whole needs to become a flagship franchise for that to happen.
