Hey, folks! Nintendo’s Japanese LINE account has just made a MOTHER series wallpaper available to its followers! This seems like as good of a time as any to encourage you guys to sign up for LINE and start following Nintendo!

If you’re already a LINE member and have the app installed, try going to https://www.nintendo.co.jp/social/ on your mobile device and hit the green button with Japanese characters and the LINE logo in it! This should automatically take you to their account for easy following.

“But vid,” I hear, “why should we join for a wallpaper that we could just get online somewhere?” – My thinking is that this is just one more avenue for Nintendo to notice us. If a whole bunch of users from outside of Japan start suddenly following Nintendo’s Japanese LINE account right after a MOTHER related item appears, that might be one more thing they take notice of.

I’m a LINE user and I can confirm that stickers are definitely what makes me and my friends pick up LINE

…Though I’ll have to point out that LINE’s stickers are the scourge of our own wallets.

I see nothing about Mother even in their history, but I did find a paid Animal Crossing theme.
I hope I can still get it…
