Alright colour lovers- part two of this week’s color theory is up

Starmen.net Art Bootcamp 2013: Week 3: Color Theory part 2

Today, Omnitarian talks about colours and why we associate certain colours with other colours. This will be a warm-up for the final class which will be on friday where you get to apply everything we’ve learned this week into your own work.

For your homework, you could create your own line work to prep for fridays colour lesson. If you are strapped for time this week, there is no worries as Omni has provided some line work for you guys to experiment for next week once we start to put all the colours together.

Try to think of what sort of mood or colour scheme you would like to try!

It’s a little hard to read, but I like it because it gives a global perspective.

As Ann said, this one is a short & simple video, so now’s the best time to start gearing up for your final projects: inspire yourself by digging around your art feed for striking uses of color, and get cracking on your lineart for your final project.

Yeah…I guess we should put up our lineart?….
I don’t know.

I’mma’ doing a Runaway Dog then (YOU BLOCKHEAD).
But I can’t decide whether I should use this one:

I haven’t done any artwork with dilated lineart in awhile (1st one), so it might be interesting.

I also find it fun to butcher little dogs’ anatomy to make them squishy.
I don’t understand it either.

Blarg I’m super late with this, but here’s a picture of Paula I drew.
I kind of rushed it and I’m not super great at drawing on my computer, so I’m not very happy with the lineart, but..
I think I might just start over and do something with markers or my handy dandy colored pencils.
