Lucas: Conrad, after the main character of “Ordinary People.” Both of their brothers die and both blame themselves and are blamed subconsciously by their guardians.

Claus: Buck, after Conrad’s brother in “Ordinary People.” Both are more athletic and outgoing than their little brothers and both li’l bros blame themselves for their big bro’s death.

Flint: Roland, after the badass gunslinger protagonist of the Dark Tower series.

Hinawa: Susan, after Roland’s love interest in the Dark Tower series. Both suffer horrible, tragic deaths.

Boney: Oy, after the Dark Tower character. Oy is the best badass pet a gunslinger could have.

Going alone with my monarch themed characters. I deicded to name Duster “1” because henchmen 1 was well equipped with all of his tools…and duster has a bunch of tools. I was considering Killinger….but the name didn’t fit

Came up with ‘em through a combination of trying to figure out anagram names, using various random.org apps to generate text strings, and just generally messin’ around. This isn’t even a new thing for me; I used to give my Final Fantasy characters names like “eXon” and “13-?”

As for my player name… well, I’ve already forgotten it. The game told me to!

It just occured to me that its odd that you can name Salsa, since at no point do any charecters refer to him as anything other than ‘Monkey’, even Fassad. I guess presumably ‘Salsa’ is his name in Monkey-speak.

I know I’m evil for naming Hinawa “Dinner” knowing how she dies, but I couldn’t help but laugh.

I was waiting for Fangamer to finish their particular run a bit so I could finish naming the characters on the Futurama theme, but I went ahead and named the rest myself so I can get the Fanfest goin.
