Gameplay
This is it. The final chapter. Giygas is waiting for you in the past. Challenge the universal cosmic destroyer, save the world, and don’t forget to enjoy the ending!
Challenges
- Enter the Phase Distorter with as few items as possible. No equipment, no food, Fox only, Final Destination.
- Beat Giygas at Level 60 or under.
- Beat Giygas with only Paula alive.
- Remember the Shattered Man you avoided in the Summers museum? Go back and fight him after you’ve beaten Giygas. Don’t lose, though, or the game goes into a crazy death loop from which there is no escape!
- And the final challenge: DO NOT ENJOY THE ENDING! Seriously, queue up the last part of Mother 3, and when Giygas disappears, switch off your SNES and watch the tearful ending on your GBA. It was all the masked man’s dream!
- 1/128 CHALLENGE! The elusive Bionic Krakens drop the elusive Gutsy Bat. Win one and you can call yourself a real EB rock-n-rolla!
