Gameplay

Locate and defeat the evil influences in your mind to become more powerful. Once you’ve regained consciousness, fetch the Zexonyte and save after you’ve delivered it.

Challenges

Store away the Franklin Badge and Sea Pendant.
Beat Ness’s Nightmare with a Flying Man by your side.
Don’t use any Dragonite. Sell it to the shopkeeper or just drop it.
Say hello if any enemies send their greetings.
Avoid all the Krakens.
Equip the Baseball Cap that you give yourself, and keep it equipped until the end of the game.

Illusional Path to Eden

This abstract image shows the illusional world of Magicant! I tried to use a variety of colors associated with Magicant to give it an illusional feel. Ness is falling from Magicant into the Sea of Eden here! So I used elements from both of the places in my drawing.

Then, it was really good that it's now in this EB Fanfest submission. And if you don't understand this visual pun, That statue is 'Ness's Nightmare'.

The Arduino Sound Stone

I've been wanting to explore using the Arduino electronics prototyping system for a while now and I seized the opportunity to do it for this Fanfest by building a Sound Stone. I have had some experience working with microcontroller systems (PIC Series), but this is my first time using the Arduino. For those who are unfamiliar, an Arduino is a tiny computer that can be programmed to interact directly with electronics components. For instance, I can hook up a light to one of the pins and write a program to turn the light on and off.
