Gameplay

Your search for the Overcoming Shyness book will take you to Winters. Battle through the Stonehenge base to rescue the captives! Save once you’ve recovered the book.

Challenges

Get three people diamondized.
Get the Sword of Kings, then hand it over to Escargo Express for safekeeping.
Don’t go over Level 60 looking for the sword. Reset your game if you do. What’s +30 to offense if Poo’s kung-fu grip is already astronomical, right?
Use the Casey Bat for the first half of the GPP. Keep Ness unequipped while you’re in the base and looking for the sword.

Starman!

I remembered that I hand-drew the outlines and whatnot of Starman and scanned it. I then GIMPed it: I darkened the lines and made and used the silver/gray gradient. Pretty much any black in the picture was hand-drawn (with pencil) and then darkened with GIMP. If you view the entire picture full size, you can see little white specs on his face and chest along with a lot more detail haha.

I could adjust the colours for sure, but the actual font was drawn out by hand, so I couldn’t change the size or shape without making it look bad.

A starman ominously looms over the Earth. Is it too late? I made this using over 2000 perler beads. The Earth was made using the planet sprite from the Mother games as a reference. The Starman Deluxe is a custom sprite I made especially for this entry.

I really like all the the entries in this topic so far, seriously! So many people have done creative things with the Starmen and different concepts and stuff, and a lot of the things here just made me go “wow!” the first time I saw them. I’m sorry for such a vague and unspecific comment, but I really do mean it! I’d love to just comment on everything, but I’ve really got to get cracking on some homework I need to do, haha.
