The Fangamer Office Cam Crew will be hosting The Award Show tonight @ 8:30 PM EST. There were a lot of great submissions this year, but who will the winners be? Judges LitNico, Aangie, cyan683, and Emily have their picks in! So tune in and find out who the winners for the following categories:

  • CompArt (best computer drawn art)
  • HandArt (best hand drawn art)
  • AudioViz (best music, video, or creative EB radio ad)
  • Literature (best fanfic, poem, etc)

And of couse, there are those prizes:

  • First Place – A clay figure provided by Meeellla
  • Second Place – A sweet plushie provided by Eyes5
  • Third Place – A $20 gift card provided by Fangamer

Big congratulations to all the winners. I’ve been able to watch a good chunk of the OfficeCam, but I didn’t get to see everything.

Regardless, I have been browsing the FanFest forum since we began this little journey. I have thoroughly enjoyed perusing all your contributions, and I have added many new backgrounds to the scrolling slideshow of EarthBound fanart that is my desktop. A lot of your work is admired daily, and is in good company in an EarthBound art folder with many other amazing pieces from this site.

I wish to congratulate you all and gravel at your feet. Artists and writers are like paramedics for this game. You keep it alive, you keep it healthy, and you keep it going. BRAVO!

    This was a lot of fun. I loved staying up and watching everyone play Earthbound together as a group. It reminded me of when my friends and I could play together more often.

    On the subject of shipping information, I’m a bit curious about one thing. How are you going to ship the gift certificates for the third place winners? Will it be like an itunes giftcard type thing with a number you put in, or how will that work?

    Figured I’d ask here for the benefit of the other gift-card winners, because I personally haven’t ordered from Fangamer before, and I’m not sure how the system works…
