Available NOW from My Nintendo, you can redeem 400 Platinum Coins for a Phase Distorter luggage tag or an EarthBound Beginnings notebook! Platinum Coins are gained by completing missions such as exploringcorporate advertising nightmares websites for recent and upcoming Nintendo titles, logging into the Wii U or 3DS eShop, or clearing objectives in a handful of mobile titles.
While this may sound tedious, if you haven't previously completed these missions, it's pretty easy to amass 800 Platinum Coins for both items just by doing the website related tasks. If you're a Mother merch collector, it's easily worth the effort for some of the few official and non-Smash related pieces of swag released in the US and Canada!
