Hey, guys!
Are you lookin’ for some fun around the forums? Curious about all those events you hear about, but never see? Well, look no further!
I have decided to organize all the fun activities that are currently going on around the forums, which you can see below. In addition, whenever there is a new update, not only will I announce it here, but I’ll be keeping this post updated as well, for easy convenient access.
(Bear in mind, certain events may be repeated if they fit in multiple categories.)
So, without further ado, here’s what’s going down.
Community Events
Project Ultimate Chimera (PUC)
- We’re looking for help filling some of the blank spaces of info we’ve collected for the Mother-series over the years! Help out for your chance to not only earn cool badges, but rank and avatar rights!
Riddles
- Answer riddles pertaining to EB/M2
- Answer riddles pertaining to M3
Art-Related
Mother 1+2+3 Gallery (2018 Editon)
- Post your art related to the Mother-series
Non-EB Art Gallery (2018 Edition)
- A place to post are not relating to the Mother-series
- The staff picks someone who has continued to make great Mother fanart and showcases them in the spotlight. Anything posted in the Mother 1+2+3 Gallery or is submitted is considered.
- The new winner is picked the 1st Wednesday of every month
- Staff picks a piece of fanart they believe should be awarded and the winner gets a snazzy badge.
- Updates every other Wednesday
- Design avatars and win badges! Design four that get used and get your own avatar!
FLUKES!
- Not really an event, but if you submit 10 flukes, you get a badge!
Writing
- Write a theory correlating to the given prompt. Win 5/7 times and get a badge. Participation awards a badge, too!
- This week’s prompt is: What happens to Brick Road after EarthBound?
- Deadline: December 12th
Monthly Prompt Post (December Edition)
- Write a short story related to the given prompt and get a badge!
- Updates on the 1st of each month
- October’s prompt is “Magic”
- Help out your fellow forumers and review their stories. Review five and get a badge!
- Staff goes through the Writing board and picks a spectacular piece. Winner is showcased and gets a fancy ol’ badge.
- Updates the 1st Monday of the month
Mafia
Game is currently in session.
Music
- Mother Music Prompt – Currently on hiatus
- Each month, users are to make music tracks based off the month’s prompt. There are participation badges and upgrades as well.
- Updates on the 1st of each month
- No prompt right now
Fangames & Programs
Let’s Play Fangames/Hacks
- If you decide to do a Let’s Play on one of the many completed Fangames or Hacks on the forums, not only are you helping out the creators, but you can earn yourself some cool badges.
Site Stuff
- If someone makes a fantastic OP, we highlight the thread and award them with a badge.
Site Activities and Events Feedback
- We’re looking for feedback on pretty much the events you see on this list. Do you like them? Have an idea for another? Why not hop over and let us know! We value your suggestions!
