I have a theory about Undertale/Deltarune, and I’m not sure where to post it. Here seems as good a thread as any:

It seems to me that Deltarune takes place in an alternate timeline where the monsters won the war back then, and humans are the ones in hiding.

I’m much more familiar with Undertale, so let me know if I’ve got the right idea or not.

Nobody in the Light World holds animosity toward Kris for being human, though. Plus Determination mechanics seem somewhat different and from what I remember it’s not entirely clear whether monsters in the Light World have magic at all, in addition to them being as durable or moreso than humans. So I think that the differences we see between those games are probably the product of a divide that’s deeper and stranger than that.

What is love, if not sharing food with someone, and then running away from that someone,
as they chase after you, shouting “That was my food, give me back my food”?
