Hello, I’m trying to reverse-engineer a program, and I don’t have any knowledge of code whatsoever.
I contacted a friend of mine who is very busy very frequently, and he’s told me the requirements for doing what I am trying to accomplish.
Here is what you need to know if you’re able to assist:
- This is all based around an abandoned project centered around EarthBound, known commonly as Saturn Valley Online.
- There are files that are modifiable and readable under certain formats, but unreadable upon first glance.
- All of the files used in the Client as well as the engine it was built on are available.
- Based on what we have currently, what is required will be an executable server and small webpage, both to work with an executable client.

Just a heads up, it is recommended that you change the game version in the client to 0. Otherwise, it will not launch. That is found in the client files under UpdaterSettings at current_version, and can be edited as a text document. Additionally, using a live address for the “_servers” files is recommended.
