I thought of something, is it possible to beat MOTHER/EarthBound Beginnings,
MOTHER 2/EarthBound, the EarthBound Halloween Hack, and other hacks by using the auto fight button?

You could get up to the final battle, but auto-battle doesn’t sing or pray so you wouldn’t be able to beat the final bosses

In some versions of Mother 1, it might theoretically be possible if you could live 255 turns, but I don’t know if that’s actually feasible with auto-battle.

PFFFT HAHAHAHAHA I forgot about the 255 turn limit. That’s such a weird thing they implemented.

Wait, how does the game go if you use the viper? I’ve heard it beats Giygas, but does it break the game or something afterwards?

Curious because I happen to be playing on GBA and would love to grief an already confusing (half-ranslated) game for myself.

I’m not actually sure. If I recall correctly, the post-battle cutscene’s weird, but everything else goes as normal.
