Pokémon Riddles
The Riddles this month will be from the following:
Riddle and Trivia TopicsPokémon Black
Pokémon White
Pokémon Black 2
Pokémon White 2
The Trivia can involve the aforementioned games but also the following:
Trivia-only TopicsPokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity
PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond
Pokémon Conquest
These will not appear in the Riddles, only in the Trivia.
- The riddle master (i.e. me) has the final say in any matters relating to the posted riddles.
- I’ll post a riddle and assign it a difficulty and points. Once it is out, you can guess the answer.
- You MUST provide logic for your answer in order to get points. An example of a good answer format can be found below.
- If nobody has guessed the riddle within 24 hours, a hint will be posted.
- The first person who posts the correct answer (with logic) will receive points for the riddle. The logic does not necessarily have to be correct, but you can get extra points if it is (see below for an explanation of logic points).
- You may guess more than once, but please do not abuse this by spamming multiple answers all at once. A good rule is maybe 1 or 2 per hint or waiting a few hours so others have a chance.
Here is an example of a riddle:
Mega Easy (1 point + 2 logic points):
I have a mom
I have a hat
I have a Pikachu
and a beast most fat
Answer in this format:
Red
I have a mom – Her name is unknown!
I have a hat – It’s his signature style.
I have a Pikachu – It’s his lead Pokemon!
And a beast most fat – He also often uses a Snorlax.
There are a few other ways to get points as well:
- Non-standard answers. If you provide an answer to a regular riddle that is incorrect, but I think the logic fits or is extremely interesting I’ll give you a few points.
- Riddle submissions. If you PM me a riddle to use I’ll award you 8 points if I decide to use it. You can only get points for one riddle a month, but you can submit as many as you’d like. Obviously you can’t answer your own riddle for points. It would be greatly appreciated if you would send me riddles! I really don’t mind! I will love you forever if you send me riddles.
Point values for riddles go as follows:
- Easy riddles: 6 points + 2 logic points
- Medium riddles: 8 points + 4 logic points
- Hard riddles: 10 points + 4 logic points
- Super Hard riddles: 12 points + 4 logic points
Logic points
If you answer within 2 hints, you may receive logic points based on how correct your logic is. After one hint, you can only get a maximum of half the original logic points for the riddle.
Along with the riddle itself, there will be a Trivia question every day.
Each Trivia question will only last one day.
Solving a Trivia question correctly grants points as follows:
Easy – 1 points
Medium – 3 points
Hard – 5 points
Multiple people can get points for trivia questions, so long as they have different answers. Thus, if a trivia question has multiple valid answers, then multiple players can get points.

Riddle #1
Medium:
Unseen power,
Binding in strife
Path to resting
The drink of life
Trivia #1
Easy:
Mention an NPC in a mainline game who has a talking speed different from the text speed you set! The answer to this Trivia can be from any mainline game, not just Generation V.
Please note: multiple players can get points for Trivia questions so long as they provide different yet valid answers!
If someone has already answered the Trivia, you can still receive points if you provide an alternate answer which also works. That said, of course not every Trivia question has multiple possible answers.
