Pigmask Commander sprite Will Mato release further updates to the translation?

sprite zeldarocks

I was wondering because of all the bugs and typos people have reported since version 1.0 was released.

A 1.1 patch is done and awaiting for an upgrade of the patcher program. It should be up soon

will this have all the documented bugs and typos fixed?

All known typos are fixed. Most bugs are fixed, but not all.

Can one patch it over the v1.0 patch?

are you gonna have an updated readme file documenting the fixes?

How should I go about applying the patch to my already patched Rom file?

No, you can’t patch it over an already patched ROM. You’ll need the fresh Japanese ROM. When you patched the 1.0 patch, the game asked if you wanted to make a backup of the Japanese ROM, I think it did this by default. So if you didn’t make a backup or deleted the backup, you’ll need to get the Japanese ROM again.

zeldarocks: I don’t know. I don’t think it’s worth it. Listing the only known bugs is probably easier and requires less time from me.

Maybe it’s too soon to ask, but will I be able to load my saves without any issues? I’m using an EZ Flash 4 with my GBA Micro. I assume yes, since the saves are separate from the actual ROM. But I’m fairly ignorant about these kinds of things.

I assume that will be the same for emulating on a PSP.

I decided to download all the ROM stuff again for another playthrough, now should I go and wait for Patch 1.1? Would it be even coming out sometime this week?

Saves from one version of the translation will work exactly the same with another.

There’s like a .000000012345% chance that an emulator save state from v1.0 might crash with v1.1 or cause something weird, but it’s very unlikely and probably not even worth the time I spent typing this.

v1.1 will be out this week.
