Hey guys,

I have an EZ Flash II 256MB cartridge and burner – and when I try to rip my original Japanese Mother 3 cart all I get is a 16MB file..

So when I try to apply the translation patch to it, it complains because the file is half the size it should be!

Where am I going wrong?

Please help!

The rom is easily available online and nobody cares how you get it. It sounds like it would save a lot of trouble to just download it. But if you’re dead-set on doing it this way, there’s nothing I can do to stop you.
Also, I’ve heard that people have problems playing 256Mb roms on a 256Mb-exactly cart. Some guy on here apparently fixed it by trimming some zeros off in a hex editor, but I don’t know too much about that.
I’ve never used an EZ Flash II, so I’m not much help, but if you do get it to work, please tell us how.
